Mr. Lane reported the advant-
ages of this integration are that
one bus less is required to serv-
ice the area, there is a 40 per
cent reduction in total daily
mileage and the overall savings

amounts to approximately
$11, 000 - this is on a pro rata
rata basis.
Trustee Arthur Haid asked
that the five board owned buses
be numbered to comply with
Department of Transportation
regulations, and this will be
looked after by y,Ir. Lane.

the increase in costs for this
service could be as great as for
the water system. He blamed
the higher costs on increased
prices and labour, and added
that the longer the projects are
delayed rhe higher the costs
will be.
Regardless of what plan of
action is taken on the water
project, there is very little.
chance work would begin before
next spring. The low bidder,
Yundt and McCann, indicated
they would need approximately
30 to 40 weeks to complete rhe
project.
In the next couple of months,
the Citizens News will attempt
to keep the water subscribers
fully informed of any further
action on the project.
