Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Schilbe and family, have moved into their home, recently purchased from Mr. and Mrs. Don llesse, The Hesse family are moving to Stratford. Mr, Ray McKinnon and family will shortly be mov- ing into their new home, purch- ased from the Schilbes. Barbara and Anne, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kane, of California, are spending their vacation with their parents in Zurich. Miss Cindy O'Brien is spending a week with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Garry Rogers, in Windsor. Mr. and Mrs. Ross McNab and sons, of Halifax, are holidaying at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs, Norman Gascho. Mr, and Mrs, Jim Parkins and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Finkbeiner are spending this week at Manit- oulin Island. Misses Elaine and Kathy Love have returned from a week't holiday with their aunt and uncle Mr. and Mrs. Norman Sararas, of Waterloo. The contract for the work was let to the Lavis Contracting Company Limited, of Clinton, for the sum of $123, 500. Workmen of the firm are seen here as they apply the first layer of asphalt to the highway. The stretch from tlensall to the Zurich limits has already been completed with the first coat, and now they are working on the second thickness, which will be the finished surface.
