At Huronview
Monday's program of old-time
music and sing -a -long was can-
celled last week owing to the
holiday.
Mrs. Prouty, of Exeter led the
regular Bible Study Tuesday in
the chapel followed by a hymn
sing with Miss Aylesworth as
pianist.
Twelve tables of games were
played Wednesday afternoon in
the auditorium, Miss Cassie
Dougall won the high ladies'
score for the euchre. 'Rodger
Gilbert had high men's score and
Mrs. Layburne and Mark Sproat
shared the consolation prize,
The Zurich Citizens Band
entertained the residents on
Thursday, Family Night with a
fine concert on the lawn. With
ideal weather practically all the
residents were able to enjoy the
program.
The residents are looking for-
ward to a band concert on Mon-
day, August 16, at 7 p.m. prov-
ided by Goderich Band.

spent the holiday weekend with
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Scotchmer,
on the Bronson line.

The marriage of Mary Christ-
ine Lansink, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. John H. Lansink, Seaforth,
to Larry Olen McLean son of Mr,
and Mrs. Ken McLean, llensall,
took place in St. James Roman
Catholic Church, Seaforth on
July 24, at 3:30 p.m. with Rev.
Father H. J. Laragh being the
celebrant of the High Mass. The
church was decorated with cand-
elabra and a mixed bouquet of
roses, carnations, baby alums
with white streamers.
Given in marriage by her fath-
er, the bride chose a long white
gown of peau de sole with Emp-
ire waist trimmed with lace, long
sleeves and a long white train
which fell from the waist trimmec
with the same lace. 1-Ier short
veil was held with a pearl and lac
headpiece and she carried a
bouquet of roses. carnations and
baby mums.
Mrs. Ruby )-loran, R,R,1, Dub-
lin, sister of the bride, was the
matron of honor and the brides-
maids were Mrs. Bill Beuerman,
R, R,1 Dublin, sister of the bride,
Miss Gwen McLean, llensall,
sister of the groom and Miss
Bonnie McGee, London. Miss
London, spent the holiday week-
end with her parents, Ivir. and
Mrs. Gordon Scotchmer.
Mr. and Mrs. t Iarold Penhale
spent a few days at St. Thomas
visiting the latter's sister, Mr.
and Mrs. Walter Scott.

Shawne Wilkinson, London and
Miss Judy Gallow, Goderich,
niece of the bride, were the •
flower girls. They were dressed
alike in blue granny type long
gowns of Victorian leno with
panel of ruffles down the front
and around the neck with long
sleeves trimmed with blue satin
button -on ruffles, The dresses
were made by the bride's mother.
The groomsman was Ray Mc-
Lean, London, brother of the
groom and the guests were usher-
ed by John Lansink, Jr., Seaforth,
brother of the bride, Brian Mac-
Lean, Exeter and Caen Hayter,
Varna.
Mrs. Alice Stiles was the
organist and accompanied the
St. James Church choir.
For the dinner at the Legion
I1a11, Seaforth and the reception
that followed, the bride's mother
received the guests wearing a
silver knit sheath dress with sil-
ver accessories. She wore baby
roses in her hair and a corsage of
pink roses. She was assisted by
the groom's mother dressed in a
lilac flowered chiffon dress and
coat ensemble with mauve acces-
sories. Mauve daisies were in
her hair and she wore a corsage
of yellow roses.
For the wedding trip to North-
ern Ontario, the bride travelled
in a coral hot pants dress with
white accessories and a corsage of
pink and white roses.
Guests were present from and Exeter.
