Gerard Jef- frey has returned home this week after teaching in Ottawa through the school months. BERRY, Secretary, Court Houser, Goderich CHARLES THOMAS, Chairman spending a week's vacation at the Mr. and Mrs. Robert Merno- vage cottage at Ducharme Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Jef- frey and family of Dearborn, Michigan, are now spending two weeks at the cottage. Mr. Mark Jeffrey and fiancee Sonia Wanc- jer, of Dearborn, spent the week- end with Mr. and Mrs. Steve Jeffrey. Visitors at the hone of Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Jeffrey through the week were Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Jeffrey and Dennise; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Jeffrey, Linda Jeffrey, and Joe Denomme, all of London, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ducharme celebrated their fortieth wedding anniversary, Saturday, July 3, and residents of this area joined in this celebration. We wish to congratulate this couple on their many years of happiness. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Charrette were visited through the week by Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Durand and family, of London; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kuzmik and family, of Brantford. Father Charrette returned back to Montreal after spending a couple of days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Charrette, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ducharme had a barbecue on Sunday to celebrate the birthdays of the family in July, which included six members. Twenty-one people attended this family celebration. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rau PAGE 13 and Mrs. Fred Siemon, ME. and Mrs. Daryl Rau, attended the wedding of Mr. Ambrose Den - ammo's daughter in Kitchener. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Whitting- ham and children of Agincourt, spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hogg, cousins of Mrs. Whittingham. They returned to Agincourt Sun- day with Roberta Hogg, who will accompany them Monday to the Lakehead where Roberta will spend a few weeks and then cont- inue on to Lake of the Woods in North Western Ontario. Pierre Cantin returned back to the states with David Cantin, and Mrs. Cantin and family are spending this week at their cot- tage. John Paul Cantin also ret- urned home and Mrs. John Paul and family are also spending this week at their cottage.
