Blue Water Rest Home
First of all, we would like to
say a great big thank -you to all
of you who came to patronize
our first strawberry festival and
make it the success that it was.
We are indebted to all of the
ladies of the community who
contributed cookies and squares
for the occasion, to all who
assisted with the serving through-
out the afternoon, the Board
Members who looked after the
parking facilities, selling ad-
. mission tickets, the speaker syst-
em and all the picnic tables for
the occasion. We were fortunate
in having Mr. John Warner,
Grand Bend, who provided organ
music during the first part of
the afternoon and agin in the
evening, Desjardine's Band who
played during the afternoon, Mr.
Munz of Mitchell, who entert-
ained on his accordian and the
Zurich Centennial Band and the
Majorettes who played during
the supper hour. We know all
of this entertainment was thor-
oughly enjoyed by the audience,

while touring through and around
