Nominate For
Rebekah Lodge
Mrs. Myrtle Taylor, Noble
Grand, presided at the nominat-
ion of officers of Amber Rebekah
Lodge, Wednesday evening. Mrs.
Elizabeth Riley, vice- grand,
reported for the visiting commit-
tee and Mrs. Myrtle Orr for the
finance committee.
The following members were
nominated for the year, one to
be elected; Noble Grand, Mrs.
Olga Chipchase and Mrs. Eliz-
abeth Riley; Vice -Grand, Mrs.
Dorothy Beaton; recording sec-
retary, Mrs. Leona Parks; financ-
ial secretary, Mrs. Bertha Mc-
Gregor; treasurer, Mrs. Dorothy
Corbett, and Mrs. Aldeen Vol -
land; trustee, Mrs. Pearl Eyre.
The Lodge members were
guests of Clinton Huronic Lodge,
June 7.

St. Paul's Anglican Church
A.C.W. meeting was held on
June 10 at the Rectory, with
the president, Mrs. Scrabuick
On June 11, Constable Ed Wil-
cox investigated a two vehicle
collision on Highway No. 21
north of Grand Bend. A truck,
driven by Donald White, Arkona.
and a car driven by Ronnie Deel-
stra, Lucan, received $350.
damage. There were no injuries.
A person has been charged
as the result of a hit and run
accident investigation by Const -
presiding.
Mrs. G.A. Anderson reported
on the Deanery meeting held in
Walkerton, guest speaker being
the Rev. Arthur Moore, of St.
Michaels and All Angels, Tor-
onto. Mrs. G.A. Anderson also
read Summer. and Silence, and
from the Arctic News the life
and work of an Eskimo Family.
Mrs. Mary Taylor read a
chapter from the Study Book.
Mrs. G.A. Anderson closed with
prayer.

Hensall, was parked on Queen
Street in Ilensall, and received
$200 damage when another truck
collided with the left side and
left the accident scene.
A car driven by Joyce Mc-
Carter, Zurich received $400
damage when it skidded out of
control in loose gravel on County
Road No 11, north of Highway
83. The accident happened on
Tune 5 and was investigated by
Constable Don Mason.
Constable Bill Glassford invest-
igated a single car collision on
the second Concession of Usborne
Township on June 6. which
resulted in $800 damage to the
car driven by Morna Jones, Ex-
eter. The driver received head
injuries when her car hit a ser-
ies of small pot holes skidding
out of control and colliding with
a tree.
