The regular meeting of Zurich
Emmanuel United Church Wom-
en was held on Thursday, June
3 at 8.15 p.m. in the church
basement. 38 members answered
:the roll call. There were six
visitors.
Miss Ethel Gabel as chairlady,
opened the meeting. Mrs. Har-
rison Schock read the poem
"Take Time," "Hymn, For the
Beauty of the Earth" was sung.
Ethel Gabel led in prayer and
the offering was taken by Mrs.
Schock and Mrs. Ken Breakey.
The ladies were entertained
by the Bayfield Ladies Trio, ac-
companied by Mrs. Irvin Snider.
Slide pictures of the "lloly Land"
were shown. Several hymns were
sung, and Scripture passages were
read to correspond with the pict-
ures.
Miss Ethel Gabel thanked the
guests and turned the business
over to the president Mrs. G.
Bullock.

urned home after visiting four
weeks with her family in Hunts-
ville and Toronto.
Lori Lynn, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Earl Wagner, Exeter,
and Neils, son of Mr, and Mrs.
Ole Meyer, Huron Park, were
baptized in St. Peter's Lutheran
Church on Sunday morning.
Ross Johnston returned home
from St. Joseph's Hospital on
Saturday, where he had been a
patient for the past week.
