The mover is shown here turning into the laneway at the Love Farm. An OPP cruiser from the Goderich detachment escorted the building while it travelled down the Parr Line. Mr. Love plans to use the former school for a shed at his farm, DASIIWOOD and DISTRICT NEWS Members of Dashwood Wom- en's Institute, rs. Glenn Webb, b, Mrs. Stuart Wolfe, Mrs. Gordon Bender, and Mrs. Leonard Schenk attended the District Annual at Hensall United Church last Thurs- day. Mrs. Wolfe displayed her geometrical string picture in the craft display and also discussed it. Mary -Jo and Shelley Howe, London, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Rader and family while their parents attend- ed a wedding in Detroit. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Burke and Susan, of Brampton spent the Varna News Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Stephen- son, Blain, Bill and Dale, attend• ed their daughter Debra's gradu- ation May 21, from the Wingham and District Hospital as a nursing assistant. Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Reid also were present. Among the many visitors over the weekend were Floyd McAsh of Hamilton, Bruce Elliott of London, Mr. and Mrs. Don Barker, Ruth, Lorne and Glenn of King City, Miss Fran Carpent- er of London, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Whyte, David, Crystal and Brian, of Seaforth. Misses May and Eleanor David- son of Hamilton called on friends here last week. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kretzlnan and boys, Margate, Florida, spent the weekend with Mrs. Cora Gaiser, following attending the funeral of Mrs. Kretzman's father in Grand Rapids, Michig- an. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Reste- mayer, Mrs. Ada Dietrich, and Mr. and Mrs. Milton Dietrich, spent the weekend in Windsor where they attended the 40th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Milford Dietrich. Miss Peggy Vanstone held a surprise party for Glen Restemay- er Saturday, May 23, on the occasion of his 21st birthday. Sunday visitors with Mrs. Mabel Gossman and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Gossman were Mr. and Mrs. Garnet Gossman and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Prep- aniere and daughter, all of Windsor. George Gossman and Mrs. Mabel Gossman attended the confirmation of Mr. Gossman's grandson, Steven Gossman at Faith Lutheran Church, Port Huron, on Sunday. Miss Susan Willert is a patient in South Huron Hospital, Exeter.
