FARQUHAR - W1LDFONG
Hensall United Church, on
Saturday, April 24, at 3 p.m.,
was the setting for a lovely
spring wedding when Mary Yvon-
ne Wildfong and Robert Stuart
Farquhar exchanged marriage
vows before the Rev. Harold F.
Currie in a double ring ceremony
amid a floral background of
candle -light, baskets of pink
glads, mauve and pink mums.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Percy Webster, of Zur-
ich, and the groom's parents are
Mr. and Mrs, Stewart Farquhar,

Traditional wedding music was
played by Mrs, John Turkheim,
church organist,
Given in marriage by her fath-
er, the bride was lovely in a
floor length wedding gown of
white silk organza. The bodice
with empire -waist was accented
by a high collar and full length
sleeves which were caught at
the wrist with cuffs trimmed with
Swiss Guipure lace and a ribbon
flowing through it. The bodice
and the A- line skirt were also
trimmed in the same Swiss Guip-
ure lace. The lace trimmed
detachable train flowed from the
waist line to enhance the mood
of this occasion. The shoulder
length veil flowed from a crown
of rhinestones, and white forget-
me-nots. She carried a cascade
of pink roses with minature white
carnations and trailing ivy.
