An excellent meal was provided by the Community Centre Ladies Committee and served by the Girl Rangers. Rev. Don Beck, President of the Huron District Council of the Boy Scouts of Canada, was assisted at the head table by Joe Mayman, Chairman of the Boy Scouts Group Committee, Bayfield and Pat Graham Registrar of Huron District Council. Ma.mataaalassasmast Everyone Welcome Faith and Life Crusade Report,1971 The Crusade Committee regrets the delay in giving this report, but we had to wait until the Billy Graham Association billed us for the. travel and other expenses of the Rev. Ralph Be11. No honorarium or "love gift" was given M. Bell in conformity with the request of the Billy Graham Association. We are grateful for the significant ministry of Mr. Bell. Thank you to all who supported the crusade through attendance, prayers and gifts. And Thank You to thos who donated time and work to help in preparation for, and during the week-long crusade. Our special thanks to Norm Tait, the Crusade Choir and Mrs. Muriel Snider, pianist. And we thank all who provided significant special music each night. We thank those who provided materials and equipment, ?)on Oke Ltd. provided materials for the podium, Gingerich's Ltd. made available floor covering, electronic equipment and green plants. Keith Westlake loaned a piano. Nete's Flowers did an excellent job with the floral arrangements. Youth for Christ gave the use of their lectern.. The Blue Water Rest Home kindly permitted use of their dining roam for the Prayer Breakfast. We are also grateful to the young people wlio helped to make advertising posters, as well as the slogan we used above the stage. The Crusade Committee Ab of People Members of the United Church Women of Emmanuel United Church Zurich, were Sunday, May 2, guests of CFPL's ACT FAST. Mrs. Laird Jacobe acted out the charade "Rocket Robin Mood." The group received $140. to be used for Mission Work. Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Den- omme, formerly of the Blue Water Highway, have moved into the home recently vacated by Mr. and Mrs. Jim Bedard. Mr. and Mrs. Bedard and family have moved into their home which they purchased from Mr. Claude Gelinas. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hunt, of Dacre, visited with friends in Zurich last Tuesday and Wednes- day. Mrs. Dale Bradford returned to her home in Calais, Maine on Sunday, after spending the past week at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Deitz. Mrs. Don Hesse is a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital, London. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gascho spent last weekend in Windsor visiting with their daughter and son-in- law, Mr. and Mrs. Garry Rogers. Obituary WILLIAM ARMSTRONG A resident of Stanley Town- ship most of his life, William Armstrong, of R. R.1, Varna, passed away at the Goderich Hospital, on Thursday, April 22, in his 87th year. Surviving are four brothers, James, Kerrobert, Sask., Rainey, Moose Jaw, Robert and Joht., both of R. R.1, Varna; three sister, Mrs. Victor (Marjory) Boyce, Goderich; Mrs, John (Rose) Col- lins, London; and Mrs. Frank (Margaret) Boyce, R.R.1, Varna. Funeral service was held at the Westlake Funeral home, Zurich, on Saturday, April 24, with burial in Bayfield Cemetery.
