Hensall Women's Institute Elect
New Slate of Officers at Annual
Hensall Women's Institute met
in the Legion Hall, Wednesday,
April 14, fox their annual meet-
ing. President Mrs. James Mc-
Allister presided and introduced
district president, Mrs. Delbert
Geiger, of Zurich, who brought
greetings from the District. She
also read a poem. "The Ten
Commandments for Institute
members," and conducted the
installation of officers.
Mrs. Elizabeth Riley reported
for the sick and shut-ins. Mrs.
Walker Carlile and Mrs. Jack
Corbett were appointed a com-
mittee for this project for next
month.
Mrs. Grace Peck reported for
Huronview Auxiliary and announe
ed a blossom tea at Huronview,
ENTERTAIN WINNERS
The Kippen East Women's
Institute had an enjoyable time
last week, Wednesday evening,
when they had dinner at the
Dominion Hotel, Zurich.
The losing side for the attend-
ance entertained the winners
with games and cards. Each
member revealed her secret pal
she had for the past year.

will be appreciated.
A motion was passed to join
the Retarded Association. It was
announced that the District An-
nual will be held May 20, in
Hensall United Church. Mrs. R.
age and Mrs. T. Sherritt are
to convene the dinner.
Miss Amy Laramie chaired the
program, highlite of which was
a discussion of hobbies. Taking
part were Mrs. John Skea, Mrs.
J. Corbett, Miss Laramie, and
Mrs. R. Simpson. Mrs. W. Dill-
ing gave courtesy remarks. Pro-
gram convenor was Miss Lammief
hostesses, Mrs. E. Riley and
Mrs. Annie Reid.
