SIGN TELLS THE STORY - The new sign hinging in front of the former O'Brien Produce
building in Zurich tells what is happening inside. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Oesch are opening their
place of business to the general public this Saturday, and to those who do not understand, the
name at the top is the German way of saying "The Cheese House."

Opening Event All Day Saturday
A new business will officially
open in Zurich this Saturday,
when "Das Kaese Haus, " or
The Cheese House, will hold a
Grand Opening event, Propriet-
ors of the new business establish -
meat are Mr. and Mrs. Carl
(Desch, who have been residents
of Waterloo for some years and
returned to this area several
months ago.

handle a complete line of fancy
and imported delicacies, as
well. Mrs. Oesch is a sister to
the proprietor of the Baden
Cheese Factory, and brings with
her a wide knowledge of the
cheese and dairy business.
As a feature attraction for
their grand opening, the couple
have arranged to have the Huron
County Dairy Princess in attend-
ance at their store on Saturday.
She will be there from ten in
the morning until three in the
afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Oesch extend
a welcome to everyone to drop
in and see them on opening day.
Their -store is located in the
former O'Brien Produce building,
on Main Street.
For the lady who sews her own
wardrobe, the stores offer a large
variety of new, spring fabrics.
Easy to work with are the soft
jerseys, polyester, knits,
organzas, silks and crepes in gay
prints or plain colors.
For a more dashing look there
are fabrics in denim, cottons and
lovely materials in the homespun
look.
For tailored styles, stripes and
plaids join with herringbones in a
return to classic influences.
