glimpses.. , as we're passing by..
but as we go our way... we see
a flower amongst the weeds, and
gold beyond the grey. We wish
all of our readers a Happy Easter.
On Monday evening, the film
"That Funny Feeling" was shown.

as well as our Residents enjoyed
the evening's entertainment.
On Thursday, April 22nd at 7:80

to have them soon for your inf-
ormation.
We welcome our new resident,
Mrs. Elizabeth Cox, and are
pleased that Mrs. Beatrice Faber
has recovered and is back on the
kitchen staff.
The Horne has been brightened
up by the Easter decorations
and window paintings, thanks to
Mrs. Norma Siebert and Miss
Meda Surerus. The birds on the
dining -room windows are so real
that all they lack is their bird
calls. We are grateful to the
ladies of the village who have
been corning out to join in the
quilting bee. Our ladies here
find quilting twice as enjoyable
when they are joined by a few
visitors.
On Tuesday evening the
Annual Meeting of the Horne was
held in the Craft Room with a
good attendance. There were no
new Board Members elected to
office. Bingo was enjoyed on
Thursday evening as usual. The
feature prize, a large chocolate
bunny, was won by Mrs. Bertha
Hayter.
The Sunday evening Chapel
service was conducted by Rev.
Ephriam Gingerich, of Zurich.
Mrs. Mahlon Martin was the .
organist and accompanied the
choir during the service. I
would like to say how much it
means to the residents to have
visitors join them in their wor-
ship service, and what a help
it is to have a choir to assist with
the music. The Chapel Service
begins at 5:45 p.m. Perhaps you
will be able to attend some of
them, and visit with the resid-
ents following the service.
