NEW EATING ESTABLISHMENT - A new place for people to eat opened on the Bluewater Highway,
south of St. Joseph, last weekend. Called the Bayview Tourist Inn, the dining room is owned and
operated by Mr. and Mrs. S. Bechard, who live at the same location. According to Mrs. Bechard,
who is seen standing in the doorway to the modern kitchen, the dining room can accommodate about
40 persons at one time. As well as catering to small banquets, weddings and organizations, the '
dining room will be open to the general public every day until 10 p.m.
MEET AT McKINLEY HOME
The fourth meeting of the
Zurich V 4- H club was held Tues
day afternoon at the home of
Mrs. McKinley. All members
were present and answered to the
roll call, "How I planned my
separates to flatter my figure, "
Each member must make a set
of summer separates during this
club and hand it in for Achieve-
ment Day.
Rita Pennings read the minutes
of the last meeting and is press
secretary for this meeting. The
group discussed joining seams
and gathers.
Mrs. McKinley demonstrated
how to put in a centred and
invisible zipper. Debbie McKin-
ley demonstrated putting in a
lapped zipper. All members
worked on their separates with
the leader's adding their assist-
ance.

Beef Resolution
A resolution from the County
of Perth advocating the restrict-
ion of the importing of "cheap
beef" from Australia and New
Zealand into Canada did not
get the support of Huron County
Council,
At the March session last Fri-
day, William Elston, reeve of
Morris Township, claimed this
import-export business was a
"two-way street."
He said Canada's pork exp-
orts were a "God -send" to farm-
ers who sell 40 percent of their
