County Pork Producers held in the Legion Hall, Clinton, James McGregor, R, R, 2, Kip - pen, was named chairman for another term. Eric Moore, R, R, 4, Goderich is vice chair- man; Lloyd Stewart, R, R,1, Clinton, secretary. One hundred and thirty-five registered Pork Producers at- tended, The guest speaker was Blake Snoblen of Kent County, chairman of the Prov- incial Pork Producers Board. Retarded Group To Discuss Adult Workshop South Huron and District, and Wingham and Goderich Association for the Mentally Retarded are holding a series of meetings to consider the formation of an adult Workshop for the County of Huron. Several sites have been cons- idered, one being the Protest- ant Chapel of CFB, Clinton. At the regular monthly meet• ing of the South Huron Ment- ally Retarded Association to be held in Exeter Public School, Tuesday, March 30, there will be a question and answer period concerning the workshop. Isis topic was Hog marketing in the United Kingdom and Switz- erland. The following resolution was passed; Whereas, the O, 9. ' P, M, B , is interested in promot- ing pork products at reasonable cost to the Ontario consumer, and; Whereas, the place to do this is at the meat display counter with appropriate col- ored display posters of pork products and pork recipes with convenient trays to hold these; Therefore be it resolved that the 0, P, P. M, B. furnish all the county associations boards in Ontario with the appropriate material to be placed in every grocery store in their own county as a promotional prog- ram in 1971. Huron County has 22 council- men on the County Pork Prod- ucers Association.
