An interesting prog- ram on the theme is being prep- ared. At a successful euchre party held by the Murphy Orange Lodge at Clinton the draw for the $50. first prize and $10. second prize was made. The winner of the $50. was George Westcott Jr., R. R. 2, Gobles, Michigan, a ron- in -law of Jack Henderson of Brucefield, who sold him the lucky ticket. Earl Williams, of Goderich won the $10. prize. Enough profit was realized from the draw to complete paying for the hall, value of which is $10, 000. paid over a ten year period. Holiday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Keys and Anne were Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Hill, Exeter; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Stephenson. and family, Varna; Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Burt and family, St. Catharines; and Miss Linda Keys, of Toronto. Special New Year's Service was observed in Hensall United Church Sunday morning, with Rev. H.F, Currie delivering a special message. The choir sang a number with Mrs. John Turk- heim at the organ consol, and flowers in the sancturary were in loving memory of Mrs. William Forrest, placed by her family.
