able to play until April and May.

ed sooner. While hockey is going
on there will also be indoor
basket -ball competitions.
STE. MARIE CHEERLEADERS
Mr. J. McCarroll, P, T. cons-
ultant, said that the Ste. Marie
Cheerleaders might be going to
London to perform for an orph-
anage. The girls have many
songs and the leader, Mary -Lou
Rau, is making the girls work
hard. They are thinking of
getting blue dresses and white
tops which are very pretty.
BOYS GETTING SWEATERS
The Ste. Marie School soc-
cer, basketball, baseball, and
football, hockey, and track and
field teams axe expecting to
get sweaters. We have two
companies that might sponsor
us and we hope at least one
company will.
INDOOR REC ESS
On Friday, November 20,
Mrs. Perron (principal) of our
school, asked a number of boys,
and Dianne and Elaine Duch-
arme, if they would play their
guitars to entertain the students
during in -door recess. Danny
Overholt was the main singer.
Randy Geoffrey played the drums,
and Mary Ann Vermont played
the tambourine.
They were very good, a little
noisy, but all enjoyed them.
TO MRS MARILYN HONNER:
We are very fortunate to have
Mrs. M. Hohner to teach Kevin
Jeffrey and Mark Regier while
they are away from school due
to illness. We would like to
send our best wishes to Kevin
and Mark and hope they will be
back soon.
SPORTS SECTION
The soccer team of Ste. Mar-
ie School are starting to work
and practise very hard to make
a hard working team. If the boys
keep on practising the way they
are, they will make a very good
hard to beat team.
Please watch for future news-
letter for schedule, lines and
scores.
