Hensall Top Team in Zurich 'Rec League
Hockey; Remain Undefeated to Date

BLUEWATER 7 - FLYERS 5
Thursday night the Bluewater
downed the Flyers in a game
that turned around completely
as they edged their opponents
7-5, in Zurich Rec League play.
Neither team was able to come
up with a goal in the first period.
The second period saw the
Flyers score from goals off the
sticks of Mahlon Martin with two,
and Gary Gingerich and Paul
Hesse with one each.
In the last period the Blue -
water outscored the Flyers 7-1
to take the victory. The Blue -
water goal scorers were Leo
Ducharme, Phil Overholt and
Dave Durand with two goals
each, while the extra marker
was scored by Mahlon Martin.
HENSALL 15 - MATES 7
Thursday night saw the Hen-
sall Coach team trounce the
Mates 15-7.
Hensall goal scorers were Len
Smale with four, followed by
Murray Bell who had three.
Charles Dalrymple, Bob Carlile
and John Campbell each rallied
for two while singles went to
Bill Bell and Dewey Wurm.
The Mates'were scored by
Rick Walker and Eric Smale
with doubles while Isidor Laporte,
Willy Overholt and Martin Van-
derberk scored one each.
FARMER'S U. 9 - SABRES 7
On Sunday night the Farmer's
Union downed the Sabres 9-7 in
a very close match.
Farmer's Union goal scorers
were Gerald Shantz with four,
followed by John Gascho and
Jim Consitt with two each, while
the extra marker went to Larry
Merner.
The Sabre's goals were ac-
counted for by Larry Denomme
with a hat -trick. Ken Clarke
rallied for two while 13111 Wag-
ner and Garry Hess each scored
once.

with other MP's who attended the NATO meetings there, he had the honour of meeting Senator
Edward Kennedy and discussing mutual problems of Canada and United States with him. Mr. McKin-
ley is seen in this photo, left, along with Nits. McKinley, an unidentified MP's wife, and the pop-
ular senator from U. S., as they talk over matters concerning them both. Senator Kennedy is the
ship of the Democratic party it United States, while Mr. McKinley is the deputy -whip of the
Conservative party in Canada.
