Mr. and Mrs. Ross MacMillan, David, Tommy, and baby Ann, of Waterloo, and Mrs. Florence Joynt, spent the day last Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Laird Mickle. Harry Horton is a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital, London. Mrs. Pearl. Shaddick and Mrs. Annie Cole left Wednesday, December 2, by bus, to spend the winter months at Lakeland, Florida. Cultural Activities will' be the theme of Hensall Women's Inst- itute meeting , Wednesday, Dec- ember 9, Roll call being a small gift to fill a stocking at the Goderich Hospital. Collect for Bursary Fund 500. Mx. and Mrs. Michael Soldan, were present for installation serv- ices in St. Pauls Anglican Church London, Monday last, of their uncle, the seventh Bishop of Huron, the Rt. Rev. Carmen Queen and later attended a ban- quet in his honor in that city. Anglican Women Entertain At Regular Meeting The Anglican Church Women's meeting of St. Pauls Anglican Church was held on Thursday evening, November 26, in the church basement. The president, Mrs. William Scrabuik opened the meeting with prayer and wel- comed the guests from the United and Presbyterian Churches. Hymn 412 was sung and the roll call was taken by each church group standing and being counted. Mrs. Mary Taylor read the lesson from James 2, 1-10. Mrs. Scrabuik gave the address, the topic being "Unity." Prayer for the sick followed. Collection in the aid of the Bible Society, amounted to $18.70, followed be meditations. The president introduced Mrs. Walter Spencer, who took them on a picture tour of many count- ries. A north Bay youth, critically injured on Sunday in a single car mishap, which claimed the lives of his two companions, continues to fight for his life in St. Joseph's Hospital, London. Telesford Pacquett, 20, a native of North Bay and now a resident of Kitchener was pulled from the burning wreck by Ex- eter Firemen. Killed in the mishap were Allen Thompson 22, of 56 King Street, Kitchener and Jame's Masse, 19, also of Kitchener. All three men were originally from North Bay and had recently moved to Kitchener. Huron County Coroner, Dr. Frank Mills, of Goderich pro- nounced Thompson and Masse dead at the scene. Provincial Constable E.C. Wilcox and Corporal R.F. Brooks investig- ated the collison.
