H. Epps Manufacturing Limited, Clinton, Honourable Charles MacNaugh- ton announced this week. The Huron MPP said the exp- ansion will create a total of 13 new jobs in the Clinton commun- ity. The expansion is made pos- sible by a $20, 166 Equalization of Industrial Opportunity Loan from the Ontario Development Corporation. The loan will not have to be repaid provided the recipient meets certain conditions over a six-year period. Mr. MacNaughton also an- nounced this week that a $100, 000 forgivable loan has been approved for the manufacture of plastic products in Seaforth. Standard Products (Canada) Limited will receive E.I.O. financial assistance to produce a line of plastic extruded auto- mobile trim in the former Bosh - art furniture plant. Each name identifies a different shape, size or flavor. Sonie sausage must be cooked before it is eaten, some is eat- en as is, but whatever it is cal- led, or however it is served, home economists of the Ontario Department of Agriculture and Food remind us it is important to store all sausage properly, All sausage must be refrigerated at 30 to 40 degrees F. as soon as possible after purchase. ZurichCouncil (continued from page 1) of the plan is to be presented to county council at their Decemb- er session. A discussion on the proposed water and sewage projects dealt mostly with frontage rates, and councillor Herb Turkheim point- ed out to the meeting that any- one could pay off their frontage assessment all in one year, if they so wished. He added that a ratepayer would save about 50/o of their total 20 -year ass- essment by paying the entire amount when the project com- mences. Little opposition was register- ed to the projects, with most of the persons present comment- ing that if they were essential they would soon or later have to go through anyway. Reeve Gordon Hess Pointed out that any ratepayer could register a formal opposition to the proj- ect, by sending a letter to the clerk within 21 days of the first publishing of the notices in last week's edition of the Citizens News.
