Sorry folks, we missed you
last week, did you miss us? Don't
let us mass you anymore. Please
keep us up-to-date op your
comings and goings, visitors,
trips and other activities. We
hope it won't always take two
weeks to get enough news' for
one column.
Mr. and Mrs. Nap Denomme
visited their cottage last Thurs-
day but because of the chilly •
wind blowing off the Lake they
changed their minds about stay-
ing and returned home to Detroit
a few hours later.
Mr. and Mrs. David Jeffrey
and family, along with Mrs.
Jeffrey's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Rossi, all of Detroit, visited
last Sunday with friends and
relatives along the Bluewater.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Mernovige
of Royal Oak, Michigan, are
planning on spending two weeks
at their cottage at Ducharme
Beach. (Good Luck)
Mrs. Valerie Cantin spent the
weekend at her home in St.
Joseph and visited her friends
and family before returning home
to Detroit with her brother,
Treffley Laporte.
Mr. and Mrs, Norman Charret-
te returned home last week after
a Californian holiday, visiting
their son and his family, Ellis
Charrette.
Mrs. Louise Cantin returned
home last week after spending
a few weeks visiting her daughter
and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Peasant and family, in Montreal.
Mr. and Mrs,_ Golding,. off_
London visited their cottage at
Ducharme Beach on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Allan Ross, of
Toronto spent the weekend at
their cottage at Bayview.
Mr. and Mrs. LeGendre and
family, of Detroit, and Mr. and
Mrs. L, Z. Fournier, spent the
weekend at their cottages in St.
Joseph.
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Durand
and family, of London visited
Mrs. Durand's parents, Mr. and
Annual Meeting

Bible Society
Rev. Leonard
W. Schnell
will be the guest speaker for
the local annual Bible Society
meeting. He has formerly ser-
ved as District Secretary for the
Saskatchewan Area. Because of
the limited dates available with
Rev. Schnell, the Zurich execu- '
rive has decided to co-operate
with Dashwood and attend the
meeting at the

Mrs, Dennis Charrette last week-
end,
Mr, and Mrs. Avco Delta and
family, of Sterling, Georgia,
returned home last weekend after
spending two weeks along the
Bluewater visiting their many
friends and relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Philip Durand
celebrated their twenty-fifth
wedding anniversary with a fam-
ily dinner at the Zurich Domin-
ion Hotel, Saturday, November r

Mums and roses formed the
setting in St. Boniface Church,
Zurich, when Father A. Durand
heard the wedding vows of Rose
Marie Grenier and Richard Lloyd
Rader in a double ring ceremony.
The bride is the oldest daughtei
of Mr. and Mrs. Alphonse Gren-
ier, Dashwood and Mr. and Mrs.
Elgin Rader are the parents of
the groom, also of Dashwood.
Mis. Steve Meidinger contrib-
uted the wedding music and
accompanied Mrs. Bob Hoffman,
the soloist.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride was charming in
a floor -length empire styled
gown of fortrell. A fortrell train
was lined with nylon tulle and
the illusion veil was held on by
a sequined crown. She carried
a white Bible on which was plac-
ed a white orchid and satin
streamers.
Catherine Grenier was her
sister's maid of honor and she
chose a peacock blue French
velvet gown with empire waist-
line. Carole and Joanne Grenier,
also sisters of the bride, Donna
Bishop, a cousin, and Heather
Rader, the groom's cousin, were
attired the sante as the maid of
honor and all carried one long
stemmed red rose.
Kenneth Rader was best man
for his brother and Glen Rader,
Harvey Adams and Gerard Gren-
ier ushered the guests. Robert
McGregor, the bride's cousin,
was ring bearer.
After the wedding reception
which was held in the Dashwood
Community Centre, the bride
changed to a beige colored en-;
sernble with brown accessories
and left with her husband fur a
honeymoon to Niagara Falls.
On their return the young
couple will reside in Goderich
where the bride is an employee
at Woolworth's of Canada and
the groom is employed at Conk-
lin Lumber.
In the evening many friends of
Mr. and Mrs. Durand's gathered
to help them celebrate.

Debbie spent the weekend at
the home of her brother-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Pat Jeffrey. Peter
Jeffrey, who suffered serious in-
juries in a two -car collision
Sunday, November 1, is now
doing well in St. Joseph's Hosp-
ital, London,
Daryl Rau is also a patient in
St. Joseph's Hospital. Mr. Rau
entered the hospital last Friday
for surgery.
Mark Regier, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Clem Regier, returned
home Sunday after a short stay
in St. Joseph's Hospital, London.
