Hensall and Zurich Join Forces To
Sponsor Junior 'D' Hockey Team
The Zurich Minor Athletic
Association and the Hensall
Minor Athletic Association will
be combining their efforts this
year to sponsor a Tunior "D"
team, which will be known as
the "Combines, " with home
games alternating between the
two communities.
This team will compete in an
eight team league consisting of
Mitchell, Exeter, Lucan, Lamb-
eth, Belmont and two new ent-
ries, Clinton and Tavistock,
with league play to start the
first of November.
The coach and manager for
the team are expected to be an-
nounced by the end of this week.
Practice will commence as
soon as ice becomes available,
and all boys of Junior age are
invited to attend.
Reeve of Stanley
in warden race
At least three Reeves in the
County of Huron have signified
their intention of trying for the
position of Warden for 1971.
Elmer Hayter, reeve of Sta-
nley Township, is the third
candidate in the race, along
with Hugh Flynn of Hullett and
Jack Alexander of Wingham.
