TORNADO'HITS BARN - The freak tornado which ripped through the northern part of Stanley Township last Saturday afternoon
completely demolished a large barn on the farm of Frank Boyes, about eight miles north of Zurich on the Goshen Line. Very little
damage was done to any other properties in the immediate area, although several cottages were severely damaged south of Bayfield.
STORM HITS COTTAGES - The tornado which passed through the area north of Zurich on Sat-
urday afternoon played havoc with two cottages at Westdell Beach, about three miles south of Bay-
field. The roof of the cottage iri the top photo was lifted from the rest of the building and ended
up a hundred feet away on top of a neighbour's cottage , (lower photo). Other than losing it's roof
the cottage in the top photo was not severely damaged , but the lower building was twisted badly
out of shape from the jolt it received. (Citizens News Photo)

About 500 cars and trucks
have been modified to run on
natural gas. By 1971, the
figure is expected to have
quadrupled. Advantages: low
pollution, cheaper.
Disadvantages: storage space
problem, conversion cost,
limited range between
refueling stops.
One of the most overlooked,
yet important filters is the
breather cap, through which
oil is poured into the engine.
It should be washed in
solvent whenever the oil is
changed.
