Bruce Guy heard the wedding vows of Eleanor Jane Wolfe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Wolfe, Dashwood, and John Scott Parker, son of Mr, and Mrs. William Parker, Lucan. Mrs. William Ford supplied the wedding music and accompanied the soloist, Mrs. Murray Wolfe of Roxboro. Given in marriage by her father the bride was charming in a floor length gown of white peau de soie with long sleeves, standup collar and lace trimming. Her bridal costume was completed by -a three tiered veil and chapel length train. She carried yellow roses. The maid of honor, Patricia Wolfe and the bridesmaids, Mrs. Eric Wolfe, Beverley Parker wore sleeveless empire waisted gowns in fuschia peau -de sole with a sheer overlay of pink. Pink velvet bows accentuated the waists. Their flowers were nosegays of yellow carnations and roses. The little flower girl, Lisa Hamather wore a gown similar to the bride's with pink trimming and puffed sleeves. She carried a basket of flowers. Jim Parker was best man for his brother while Dave Parker and Thomas Wolfe ushered the guests. The wedding reception was held at the Dashwood Community Centre after which the couple left for a honeymoon in Northern Ontario.
