empire waistline and scooped neck
line, was decorated with rows of
Swiss guipure lace, with white
satin ribbon around the waistline.
The long sheer sleeves and the
lovely A-line skirt were again
given a delicate touch by the
Swiss guipure lace. The centre of
attention was the beautiful Chap-
pel -length train which draped
gracefully from the mid -back to
the floor. To complete her outfit
the bride wore a head -piece com-
bined with white flowers caught
up by a short nylon veil. She
carried a cascade of shocking
pink rose buds and white miniat-
ure carnations.
Maid of honor, Miss Mary Anne
Farwell, sister of the birde, wore
a gown of embroidered French
lace in fairyland pink,styled with
a fitted bodice trimmed in mat-
ching peau de soie, and a full
length cage of matching lace,

of pink varigated miniature
carnations and baby's breath.

'Women drivers in the U.S. will
outnumber men drivers during
this decade, according the
Bureau of Public Roads, quoted
by the Ontario Safety League. In
the past three years, female
driver registrations have been
increasing from 3 per cent to 6
per cent per year, male
registrations at a 1.5 per cent
rate.
Accelerator, brakes and horn are
used in good driving. In bad
driving they are usually
over -used. Expert driving is
smooth, controlled and
inconspicuous, says the Ontario
Safety League.
