BIG PIECE OF EQUIPMENT - A feature of the Midlanders Drum and Bugle Corps, who partic-
ipated in the Band Tattoo at Zurich a couple of weeks ago, was the drum section. Shown in
this photc is one of the youthful members of the band, with a double snare drum which was

Huron County Board of Education
Re -organizes Academic Structure

Members of the Huron County
Board of Education learned Mon-
day evening how the reorganiz-
ation of its academic administr-
ative structure will actually oper-
ate.
D, J, Cochrane, director of
education, reported that the
schools will be divided into three
operational units - Unit A - in-
cluding elementary schools, one
school for the retarded and F,E,
Madill School; Unit B - six el-
ementary schools, one school
for the retarded and Central Hur-
on Secondary School and Goder-

mences his duties with the board
September 1, 1970. Other spec-

Kenwell are special education,
advisory committee on schools
for Trainable Retarded Children
and vocational education.
W. H. Kinsley will have charge
of Unit B as well as special inter-
est in English, geography and
History.
F, E. Madill in Unit C will
oversee mathematics, science
and the Advisory Vocational. Com-
mittee including Adult Education.
