At the end of rhe tour, a buffet supper was served to the entire group at the summer home of Zurich reeve, Gordon Iless, in the Pinery. Main purpose of the tour was to acquaint municipal officials from across Huron County with the work that has been carried out in these two conservation areas to date. A recent recomm- endation at county council level suggested that all municipalities should belong to one authority or another, and this tour gave officials from the non -particip- ating communities an opportun- ity to see what conservation is all about.
