CORRESPONDENTS NOTE:
Due to summer jobs, we are
finding it increasingly difficult
to obtain all the news from all
the people. We would truly ap-
preciate any people who could
either phone us or send a note
anytime before Monday night
with their news. (Thank You)
Two New Teams
Entered in Zurich
Rec League 1Play
Due to the exceptional resp-
onse of local ball players, the
Zurich Rec Softball League had
found it necessary to expand and
as a result two new teams have
been added, and will have join-
ed in league competition as of
last night, Wednesday.
It is hoped the two new teams,
"The Farmers Union" and the
"Leftovers" will add to the al-
ready present enthusiastic comp-
etition.
Because of the expansion, it
was found better to write up a
new expansion schedule and thus
all previously played games will
not go on record. At present a
schedule is being drawn up and
will appear in next week's issue
of this paper.
Come support the new teams
as well as the old, every Wed-
nesday night.

No Support for
Conservation Area
(by Shirley. Keller)
A suggestion riday from Har-
old Lobb, Clinton, that Huron
County Council should write to
the provincial government expres-
sing council's approval of the
government's move to create a
conservation reserve in Hullett
Township, fell on deaf ears.
No action was taken on the
matter.
Lobb noted that the reserve
was a welcome addition in the
county, and said that the Ontario
government should know that
the people of this county are
interested in it.
