held in Hensall United Church,
Sunday, May 31, at 11:00 a, m.
and 7:30 p.m. Guest speaker
will be a former Hensall boy,

Senior and Junior choirs, at both
services assisted by visiting sing-
ers.
Recent flowers in the Sanct-
uary of the United Church were
in loving memory of Mrs. Clar-
ence (Nettie) Lenaghan, placed
by her family.
Mrs. Sim Roobol, who has beer.
a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital
London, for the past two weeks,
returned home Sunday.
Mrs. Dave Morrison of New
Westminster, B , C . is visiting
her sister, Mrs. Alma Hess.
Mrs. J.L, McCloy and daugh-
ter Carrie, of Don Mill$ spent
the weekend with her mother,
Mrs. Alma Hess.
Mrs. Milton Lavery, Hensall,
is aatient in Victoria Hospital,
London.
Weekend visitors with Mrs.
Ferd Miller were Mrs. Robert
Annan, Larry, Nancy, and Blair
of Pickering.
Mrs. Ferd Miller, Mrs. R,
Annan and family spent Saturday
with Mrs, Marie Pask, at Zurich,
the occasion being a family din-
ner for Miss Emma Bassow's 77th
birthday.
Clarence Parke was taken by
ambulance to St, Josephs Hosp-
ital, London, on Thursday.
Miss Mattie Ellis is a patient
in South I-luron Hospital, Exeter.
Mr. and Mrs. William Shad -
click of London, visited with
relatives in llensall on Wednes-
day. Mrs. Pearl Shaddic1 ret-
urned to London with them,
where she will visit for a few
days.
Mrs. Bertha finks spent the
weekend with Mr. and Mrs.
Ross Jinks and family, and Miss
Susan Jinks, London.
PLAN TO ENTERTAIN
The I -Ii -C of Hensall United
Church are planning to entertain
the children of lvierrimounr Childr
ren's Home, London, in June.
The children will be taken on a
tour of the area and then served
a picnic lunch.
HELP RETARDED
Over four hundred dollars was
collected in Hensall for the
Flowers of Hope campaign,
To the appreciation of the
local association, Mrs. Simpson
adds her personal thanks to the
canvassers for their splendid ef-
fort and to the business concerns
and people of Hensall for their
generous response to this appeal.

Wedding
SIMS - KERR
Latter Day Saints Church,
Monteville, Northern Ontario,
was the setting Saturday, May
23, at four o'clock for a quiet
but pretty wedding when Carol
Lynn I:err, daughter of Mr,
William A. Kerr, North Bay,
and the late Mrs. Kerr, became
the bride of Norman Paul Sinis,
of Exeter, son of Mrs, E. R, Sinis,
Exeter, and the late Mr, Sims,
in a double ring ceremony before
the Rev. llarold Fryer.
Given in marriage by her fatti-
er the bride wore a floor length
A-line gown of white satin. The
shoulder length veil of net was
caught to a bead piece of white
roses, and she carried a nosegay
of yellow roses and white musts.
Mrs. Linda Coulonbe of Monte-
ville, cousin of the bride, was
matron of honor gowned in sea
green crepe ensemble floor len-
gth and carried a cascade of
white carnations and yellow mums
Mr, Toni Elliott, of Exeter,
was groomsman, and Mr. Wes
Sims, Exeter, brother of the groot:
ushered.
The wedding reception was
held at rhe home of Mr. and 1'lrs.
Alex Kerr, Monteville, aunt and
uncle of the bride.
The young couple will reside
in Exeter.
Guests were present from Ott-
awa, North Bay, Monteville,
Noelville, Exeter, and llensall.
The bride is the niece of Mrs.
Maude Redden, llensall.

REPORT
During the week of May 17
to 23, the Exeter detachment
of the Ontario Provincial Police
investigated four motor vehicle
accidents, in which three per-
sons were injured.
Twelve charges were laid under
rhe llighway Traffic Act, and
two under the Criminal Code of
Canada. There was one charge
under the Liguor Control Act.
A total of 32 warnings were
issued under the Highway Traffic
Act,
The accidents were as follows:
On Monday, May 18, Prov-
incial Constable R. T. Whiteford
investigated a one -car collision
that occurred on the Usborne-
Tuckersniith Township Line east
of llighway No. 4 at 7.00 p.m.
Involved' in the collision was a
vehicle driven by Gary Wurm,
of Exeter. No injuries. Damage
was estimated at $500,
On Sunday May 17, Provincial
Constable R. T. Whiteford invest-
igated a two car collision that
occurred on llighway No. 84, .8
miles west of the junction of
Huron Road No. 31, at 11:15 p.m,
Involved in the collision was a
vehicle driven by Clement Ben-
edict O'Leary, of London, and
a vehicle driven by Hugh Alex-
ander McEwen of R. R. 2, Hensall.
Damage estimated at $300. No
injuries.
On Wednesday, May 20, Pro-
vincial Constable W.G. Glass -
ford investigated a two car col-
lision than occurred at 7:00 p.m.
on Highway No 4, .8 miles
wouth of the junction of Huron
Roads 1-0-12 (Kippen). Involved
in the collision was a vehicle
driven by Dorothy Bell, of R.R.
2, Kippen, and a vehicle driv-
en by Herbert Bruce Horton,
of Hensall. Damage estimated
at $3,500, Mrs, Bell received
lacerations to head, facial ab-
rasions, leg injuries, and chest
injury. Herbert Horton received
a lacerated chin, and injuried
right knee.
On Saturday, May 22, Prov-
incial Constable F. L. Giffin
investigated a one -car collision
that occurred at 2:14 a. m on
Huron County Road No, 21
at the junction of Stephen Town-
ship, Concession 2. Involved in
the collision was a vehicle driv-
en by Gloria Diane Wells, of
Iluron Park. Damage was estim-
ated at $325. Mrs. Wells receiv-
ed bruises to head and arms.
