Final plans were made to attend the July 12, celebration at Kin- cardine, EXPLORERS MEET The Explorer group met last Tuesday evening at the church, with Cathy Taylor in charge. The purpose and motto was re- cited by all the members- Bev- erly Cantelon gave the prayer. The scripture was read by Patsy Taylor. A poem was read by Marianne Kalbfleisch. This habit is so endearing no one can refuse him anything, and his foster mother thinks Reg may be a bit spoiled. French-Canadian, Scottish and Barbadian in descent, Reg is a handsome, sturdy boy with blue -grey eyes, dark - brown wavy hair and Light -tan skin. You can tell from his expression that he is a most happy fellow. He loves children and welcomes attentioa from adults, though if he doesn't know them he looks them over carefully before deciding to be friends. Reg loves music and he's trying to sing. He can say a few words. He's almost ready to walk. This baby needs parents who will enjoy a healthy, lively young son with a racially -mixed background. It was decided to send $100. to Earls Court Children's Home in Toronto, which will provide units in the home- Recreation was led by Mrs. Barry Taylor. Nominations of officers for 1970-71 was held, with the fol- lowing named; Noble Grand, Mrs. John Taylor, Brucefield; record- ing secretary, Mrs. Leona Parke, financial secretary, Mrs. Bertha McGregor; treasurer, Mrs. Ed Corbett; trustee, Mrs. Margaret Ingram. Flans were arranged for visiting lodges for the next meeting on June 3. A number of members received an invitation to attend Friendship night at lluronia Lodge at Clinton June 1.
