At the same meeting, council were informed that their levy for 1970 taxes for the County of Huron will be $12, 673.27, compared to $13, 452. last year. This will mean a reduction of well over one mill. The levy for the Huron County Board of Education is $22, 270., compar- ed to $24, 020., last year. We opened with the 4-11 Pledge and all members answered to the roll call, " a fruit recipe I enjoyed making." Rita read the minutes of the last meeting, and is press sec. retary.
