Married in St. Peter's Church, St. Joseph
FINKBEINER - GEOFFREY
Darlene Ann Geoffrey and
Douglas Allan Finkbeiner ex-
changed marriage vows in St.
Peter's Roman Catholic Church,
St. Joseph, on Saturday, April
25, at 2 o'clock.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Ted Geoffrey,
Zurich and the groom is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Allan Finkbein-
er, Crediton.
Monsignor W. Bourdeau offic-
iated for the double ring cere-
mony.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride was a picture
of old-fashioned grace as she
glided slowly down the aisle in
her gown of imported chantilly
lace, from the high ruffled neck-
line, slim fitting wrist length
sleeves, finished with a match-
ing lace ruffle and the Empire
style waistline, to the finished
formal length of the gown. The
main feature of this gown was
the over -skirt style of theown
which was lace over frosted silk
lagoda, finished with tiny scal-
lops down the front. Back inter-
ests were centred on the cathed-
ral length train that cascaded
from a lover's knot bow at the
waist. She chose a floor length
veil and carried a bouquet of
red roses and stephanotis.
Miss Colleen Geoffrey was
maid of honor and bridesmaids
were Mrs. Elaine Keller, Dash-
wood, Miss Rosemary Ducharme,
Zurich and Miss Shirt Pfaff,
Crediton, The attendants wore
identical crystal chiffon gowns
of rainbow colors, hot pink, blue,
yellow and lilac. The high small
bodice was styled with scoop
neckline and delightfully fernine
puffy sleeves bonded together
with dainty flowered trite. The
deep back folded , flaring into
a soft panel. They all wore mat-
ching floral clusters with double
tier circular nylon veil for head-
pieces, and carried bouquets of
white shasta mums.
Flower girl, Christine Geoffrey,
Toronto, was gowned the same
as the other attendants.
Brian Stewart, ilensall was
ringbearer.
Groomsmen were Brian Lamp -
