Obituary MRS, NET'1'iL LENAGHAN Mrs. Nettie Lenaghan of Hen- sall passed away in South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Tuesday May 12, having been a patient there since early March. Her husband, Clarence, predeceased her in 1966. She is survived by four sons, Robert, Ottawa; Douglas, R.R. 2, Lambeth; Daniel, Toronto; Don- ald, at home, one daughter, Linda at home; three brothers, Charles Nightingale, Hanover, Clarence, Chesley; Harvey, B.C; three sisters, Mrs. Carl Moore, Hanover; Mrs. Pearl llolstock, Owen Sound; Mrs. John Martin, B.C. The body is resting at the Bonthron Funeral Honie, where service will be held Thursday, May 14, at 2 p.m. Burial will be in 1-lensall Union cemetery. PAGE THREE Anniversary services will be held in llensall United Church, Sunday, May 31, at 11 a.m. and 7:30 p. m, Guest speaker will be Rev, Robert Passmore D,, a former llcnsall boy. Sunday, May 10th, was observ- ed as the annual Family (Mother's Day) Service, at the I lensall United Church. Tlie church school sessions were withdrawn. A Junior Choir was in attendance, and sang an anthem "The Rain- bow of Ills Love." The sacraments of infant bap- tism were administered, and the following infants were bap- tized: Cheri Ann Alexander, Susan Marie Flynn, Donald Brooke MacLean, Kathleen Louise McDonald, and Steven Edward Mock. Some twenty-five to thirty interested citizens of the village staged a clean-up bee at the Park Tuesday evening, sponsored by the Ilensall Recreation Com- mittee. Mrs. Archie Couper attended the Synod in London as delegate from St. Paul's Anglican Church, 11 ensall, AMBER REBEKA115 Noble Grand, Mrs. Elgin Thomson chaired the regular meeting of Amber Rebekah Lodge, Wednesday, May G. An invitation was to be extend- ed to Parkhill Lodge and Monkton Lodge to attend the meeting rhe first Wednesday in June. Each lodge is to prepare a number for the program. Mrs. Leona Parke and Mrs. Ernie Chipchase reported their visits to the Queensway nursing home for the month of April, visiting forty-five patients. Each received a treat. Happy Birthday was sung to several members of the Lodge. Final arrangements were made for two members to attend Grand Lodge Assembly at the Royal fork in Toronto, the second Sudday in June. Cards will be sent to sick and shut-ins. 0 Auxiliary Meeting The Legion Ladies Auxiliary met Tuesday evening, May 5, for their May meeting with president Mrs. Vic Stan in the chair. It was announced that $223.55 had been collected for the Red Cross in a recent canvas of the village by Auxiliary mem- bers. The Zone Rally will be held in Goderich on the 13th of May. The Penny Sale draw will take place June 12. Tickets can be purchased from members of the Auxiliary. Guessing prize was won by Mrs. Gordon Munn; mystery prize, Mrs. Howard Smale; attendance, Mrs. J.
