Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Ervine,
Stratford, accompanied by
Robert Myer of Milverton, spent
the weekend with the former's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. Ervine,
Mrs. Carl E. Diehl is present-
ly a patient in Clinton Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. W. Barber and
family, of St. Thomas; Dr. and
Mrs. R.G, fIunter and Mrs.
Charles Rogers of Toronto; Mr.
and Mrs. Bernard, Toronto;Mr..
and Mrs. Dan Webb and family
of Birmingham, Michigan; Mrs.
Joe Beechie and children, Lond-
on; Mr. and Mrs. George Cant -
rick and their sons, Birmingham,
and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Chapman
and family, London spent the
weekend at their Bayfield homes,
With Idr. and Mrs. Fred Le
Beau for the weekend were:
Mrs. Paul lvloss and Mr. and
Mrs. Bob Cluff and their two
children.
Mrs. Eric Earl spent several
days in London last week, visit-
ing her daughter, Mrs. B.A,
Quigg.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Parker,.
of Toronto, were weekend
visitors with Mrs. Myrtle Parker.
Mr. Evans Cameron returned
to Islington on Sunday after
spending the weekend at "The
Open Gate" with Mr. and Mrs.
J. A, Cameron.
Last week I Ir. •and Dlrs, J,B.
Higgins spent Tuesday until
Saturday with Mr. and Mrs.
W.J. Higgins and baby son,
Colin, of Georgetown.
George Lindsay, Doug Huehn
and son, Scott, of Kite rener;
and Mr. and Mrs. Jini Butcher
of Plattsville were weekend
visitors with Mr. and Mrs. John
Lindsay.
John Keinert of Pontiac, Mich-
igan and Mrs. Norman F. Coop-
er of Mount Clemens, Mighigan,
were weekend guests at the
Albion Hotel.
Mrs. Elaine Marshall and
Tracey, London, joined her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred
Weston for the weekend.
Mr. Alfred Butler of Madison,
Wisconsin, and Mr. Fred
Scotchmer, Clinton, were din-
ner guests with Mr. and Mrs.
Delbert Haw on Friday. The
former has been visiting his
mother, Mrs, M, J. Butler of
Clinton, who is a patient in the
Goderich hospital.
FASHION SHOW
A fashion show sponsored by
the Community Centre drew
one hundred people -to the Centre
auditoriwn on Wednesday, April
29.
The "up to the minute" array
of spring and summer clothes
were supplied by the Bayfield
Woollen Shop, with the except-
ion of the men's clothing which
carne from Picket and Camp-
bells of Clinton.
hIrs. E. W . Oddleifson introd-
uced each model and described
the garments to an attentive
audience, fashion show includ-
ed pant suits with either match-
ing or contrasting sweaters, a
red slim leather coat, with the
fashionable "wet -look" a brown

PAUL BOA
Paul Boa, R,R,1, Hensall, a
well known district resident,
died suddenly at his home on
Monday, May 4. He was 56 and
unrn arried .
He leaves to mourn his loss
five brothers, George, R.R.1,
Hensall, Jack, Goderich, Alex,
Goderich, Malcom, R,R,1, Hen-
sall, Morris, Windsor.
Public funeral service will
be held from the Bonthron fun-
eral home, Hensall. Thursday,
at 2 p.m., with Rev. H:F.'
Currie in charge. Burial in
McTaggarts cemetery.
