JohnnyCash Show Plays at Goderich Johnny Cash has become a legend in his own time - a big man with a big voice and a face that looks as though he knows a lot about the life that is so often expressed in his songs. This legend- and the excitement that accompanies it - has now been captured in a full length motion picture, "Johnny Cash!" The Man, His World, His Music. The film was produced by Arthur and Evelyn Barron, who traveled with Cash for many months, following him on stage at Nashville's Grand Ole Opry, to a Sioux reservation in South Dakota, to a prison compound, to Canada where he appeared before cheering audiences, and to his home in Hendersonville, Tennessee. The film shows him with the people who make up his world: his wife, June Carter; his father, Ray Cash; his friends, among them Bob Dylan, Carl Perkins and the Tennessee Three. There is a visit to Dyess, Arkansas, where the Cash family moved during the depression and where Johnny first began to sing the songs he had composed while workingthe cottonfields. 1. `n ottonfiel s.
