WEANING DAIRY CALVES
There are three keys to the
timing for weaning dairy claves,
says DR. A.D.L. Gorrill of the
Canada Agriculture Research
Station at Fredericton, N.B.
They can be weaned according
to their age, weight or the
amount of starter ration they
are eating daily. And most
calves handle abrupt weaning
just as well as gradual weaning.
