Gordon L. Hill, President of the Ontario Federation of Agr- iculture, emphasizes that "these changes conte when returns are really too low." Mr. Hill is very disturbed with the proposed changes, especially with the fact that dairy farmers will lose about $1 million in funds. Zurich Dealer Receives Contract For Two Buses The lluron-Perth separate school board has ordered two 66 -passenger school buses for the Zurich area. Arthur Haid, chairman of the bus committee, reported at a meeting that the lowest tender from lluron Motor Products Ltd. of Zurich, was .accepted. The buses will cost $12, 253.22 and are to be delivered by January 1. Yet they do not hesitate to cut the incomes of farmers which are already well below those of other parts of Canada's properous society, " he argues. "Farmers are not causing the rising inflation, but the y are being heavilypenalized because the governmnt cannot control it, " he continues. idr. hill asks what government plans are for adjusting farmers' futures. He also wonders what the government expects farmers to be able to do to gain a living elsewhere without assistance and direction.
