R. 3, Ex- eter was re-elected president of the Huron County Plowmen's Association at the annual meet- ing Friday in Blyth, Other officers are: Kenneth Stewart, R. R, 5, Seaforth and John Clark, R. R. 5, Goderich, vice-presidents; Russell Bolton, R,R.1, Seaforth and Bill Hanley, Goderich, secretary -treasurers; Simon Hallaham, R. R, 3, Blyth, past president. Gordon McGavin of Walton was named county director of the Ontario Plowmen' Associa- tion. Separate School (continued from page 1) board concerned. The board granted permission 'o Chairman Vincent Young and vice-chairman Keith Culliton to attend the Ontario Trustees Board Meeting in Toronto on 'December 13. Mr. Young reported on the formation of a board in two areas in Goderich Township for tax- ation purposes for separate school supporters and a similar situation in Stanley Township is to be in- vestigated. A letter was received from the Chamber of Commerce in Sea - forth asking for assistance with street lighting at Christmas-- PAGE NINE each store front et the rate of , 50¢ per foot. The Board agreed to donate $10, to the Chamber of Commerce for its administt- ,ration offices on the Main Street of Seaforth. Superintendent of Education, fohn Vintar, and Trustee John N. McCann are to meet with members of Lambton Separate School Board to settle the dis- posal of a quantity of used desks to the Lambton Board for the use of pupils in Our Lady of Mount Carmel School. James Morris was appointed to the Property Committee, bring- ing that committee to nine mem- bers.
