Those attending the event enjoyed looking over the many novel items offered Tor sale, and this line-up was seen at the novelty counter. MEN'S CLUB The Men's Club of Dashwood 'held their supper meeting, Mon- day November 24. New officers are: President, Joe Deitrich; vice-presidents, Hubert Miller, Arnold McCann, and Victor Hartman; secretary -treasurer, Wayne O'Rourke. Retiring pres- ident Jack Gaiser was presented with a gift, Santa Clause will visit Dashwood December 20. Wellington Haist showed pictures on his trip to Europe. The club is holding a special drive for new members, • WEDDING ANNIVERSARY Mr. and Mrs.. Fred Messner I celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary, Sunday, November 23. The members of their fam- ily had flowers placed in Zion Lutheran Church in their honor. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wilson of Lloydminster, Sask, , were visit- ors last week with Mr. and Mrs. Everett Haist. Miss Luella Kuntz is a patient in South Huron Hospital, Exeter. Chester Gaiser has returned to his home from Westminster hospital, London.
