sary of the brides parents Mr. and
Mrs. Ralph E. Weber, Dashwood.
The groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Stanley J. Eagleson,
Parkhill.
Rev. C . B , Carr, uncle of
the bride officiated, with Rev.
B. Cuy assisting. Wedding music
was supplied by Mrs. Jeanne
Crocker with Mrs, Edith Carr
singing " Two Shall Be One"' and
"The Wedding Prayer."
Given in marriage by her fath-
er the bride wore a floor length
gown of velvet, empire style
with controlled A -Line skirt. The
bodice and lilypoint sleeves were
of Guipre lace and crepe. A
detachable chapel train trimmed
with Guipre lace fell from the
empire waist. A French illusion
four tiered veil was held in place
by a rosette headpiece enhanced
by tear drop crystals and seed
pearls. She carried a Bible cov-
ered with yellow sweetheart roses
Bridal attendents were Miss
Carrie Anne Steeper, Parkhill,
cousin of the bride, Mrs. Doris
Mathersm Parkhill, sister of the
groom, Mrs. Brenda Carr, Lon-
don, and Miss Shelley Weber,
Crediton, cousin of the Bride.
Flower girl was Miss Cheryl Dunn
Bayfield.
They wore floor length gowns
of peacock green velvet with
controlled A -Line skirt, a rolled
collar in contrasting green beau
de soir floating into a deep V in
the back and the gowns featured
long fitted sleeves with beau de
soir cuffs. The wore rosette head-
pieces of velvet and carried nose-
gays of yellow roses and carnat-
ions.
Mr. Irwin Eagleson, Parkhill,
was best man for his brother
while Allen Eagleson, Manitou-
lin Island, Frank Eagleson, of
Southampton, and Bill Weber,
Dashwood ushered guests from
London, Toronto, Leamington,
Ingersoll, Port Huron, Wingham
and surrounding areas. Master
Martin Eagleson, cousin of the
groom was ringbearer.
A reception followed at the
Dashwood Community Centre.
The bride's mother greeted
guests in a purple tunic dress
of French satine wool crepe and
fur jacket. The groom's mother
wore a princess style mauve dress
of satine crepe.
For travelling the bride wore
an olive green coat and had, and
a white A-line dress with white
fur trim at the hemline. She
chose black accessories and a
lavender orchid.
The couple will reside in Dash-
wood.
Prior to her marriage, the
bride was feted with several
showers. Hostesses were friends
and neighbours in Dashwood,
Mrs. Erle Hamilton in Parkhill,
Mrs. Jim Mathers in Parkhill,
Mrs. Lawrence Amos and Mrs.
Ken Rader in Dashwood, and
Mrs. Lyle Steeper in Parkhill.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Penhale
celebrated their 45th anniver-
sary on Sunday, at the home
of their son, Tom Penhale. A
surprise turkey dinner was at-
tended by Mr. and Mrs. Walter
Scott, of St, Thomas, Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Curtis, Pamela and
Timmy of London, Mr. and Mrs.
Bert Faber, of Kippen, Douglas
McCullough and Lynne Norey,
of Stratford, Mrs. Clara Bennett,
Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Bennett,
Marlene and Joan, Goderich,
Mr. and Mrs. Howard McCul-
lough, Bob, Steven and Scott of
Holmsville. They were recip-
ients of many lovely gifts.

MARRIED IN ZURICH - Mr. and Mrs. Richard James Emmerton
were married in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Zurich, on Sat-
urday, November 8, 1969, by Rev. A.C. Blackwell. The bride
is the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Grant Case, of Kincardine, for-
merly of Zurich, and a grand -daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herb
Mousseau, Zurich. The couple will reside in Palmerston.
