Mr, and Mrs. Karl v Haslip and family, Burlington, vacationed with the latters mother, Mrs. Eric Kennedy and Ira Geiger, Miss Cassie Dougall, a patient in South Huron Hospital, return- ed home on Friday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Alexander, David and Susan of Georgetown were recent visitors with Mr, and Mrs. Albert Alexander. Robert is a nephew of Mr. Alexander. Mr.Nik and Mrs.dert er have returned from a vacationM spent with their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Phillips in Jeddo, Michigan. They were away a week. W. Unit 4 of Hensall was held in Fellowship Hall in the United Church. Mrs. James McAllister presiding, and opened the meet- ing with Psalms 119, verse 11. followed with prayer. The devotional was in charge of Mrs. Elizabeth Riley. Mrs. Rodger Verner contributed a reading based on the verse "If God is for us who can be against us", which she composed while on vacation at the Lake. ' Mrs. E. Rowe had charge of the Bible study for which three groups were formed, each with a leader. The scripture under studywas Romans 10, 8-17. The roll all was answered by 22 members and three guests. Thegeneral meetingwill be on Monday, October 20, with Unit 1 in charge. It was decided to do some custom quilting about the third week in October. Arrange- ments were made for the nursery and flowers for the month of Sept ember.
