Boys No Match For Dungannon Nine The Barber Boys from the local Rec Softball League, augmented with a pitcher and catch, Lorne and Harvey Vincent from the Exeter league, and centre -fielder Rick Schilbe, from Charlies, played in the Goderich Fastball Tournament last Sundayevening. The game was playedunderthe lights, and the fact that this was a new experience for many of the Zurich players, plus the emotional state of the team, were major factors in their not - too -brilliant showing. Of course, the pitching was also much faster and trickier than in the 'local league, and the Barber Boys had only one hit, a single by Larry Bedard. The final score was Dungannon 8; the Barber Boys 0. However, with a little more experience with this level of ball, I'm sure that Zurich could put forth a good showing, and the Barber Boys made a good first try. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hackett and family and Mr. and Mrs, Tom Lagerquist and family of Niagara Falls were weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs, Ted Steinbach, Mrs. Michael Michalski and daughter Kinn, Windsor spent the weekend with Mr, and Mrs. Jerome Sweeney. essmoulimuniummusummumorm Reception and Dance FOR MARGARET ROOSEBOOM and JIM SWEITZER (bridal couple) Sat., Sept. 13 9 P.M.
