At the Junior Ducharme's on
the Bluewater Highway south of
St. Joseph were their children
from Sarnia, Zurich, and close
by neighbours.
Visitors at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Dolph Sopha over the
holiday were their son Leonard
and their grandson from Elgin,
Illinois. After a short visit with
their parents, they returned to
their home on Sunday last. We
are also glad to report that the
Senior Sophas after their long
illness there seems to be some
improvements on their health.
Mrs. Melvin Overholt of the
Drysdale district is also a patient
in Hospital. So to all the sick
let us hope that they will again
enjoy their good health.
OF GRANDSTAND
Summer campers who passed
much of the summer in their
cottages along the lake at diff-
erent resorts have left with their
families for their homes, coming
from different parts of our land
to resume their work. It will be
something of the past to see
them corning from their cottages
in the lane ways leading to this
Blue Water Highway where they
did their business and their
shopping. In all we can say so
far as known they were respect-
able in all ways and always
ready to give a helping hand and
also ready to give someone
access to pass on their property
to those who enjoyed their dip.
Of course, it was pleasing for
them to welcome then on their
property. People on,this Blue
Water Highway will miss them,
they will miss the flickering
lights at all times of the night.
It will only be the odd weekend
that some will come back.
