DANGEROUS SPOT FOR AN'I COWBOY ABOARD THIS BUCKING BRONCO d 0111110011 l0IIC$ _ by RED FISHER _.AICRCURY FISHING CONSULTANT V The old paraphrased idea that "fish are where you find them" has been worked to death. Most folks agree with the adage; many promptly ig- nore it once they get in a boat. When you see a guy flail- ing the same area for a long period without any encourage- ment by t h e fish, you're wit- nessing neglect angling's basic Fisher tenant. Instead of waiting for fish to come to you, go looking for them, urges Red Fisher of Mercury outboards. Fish are not evenly distributed through- out a lake or river, and time spent looking pays off better than just sitting and waiting. While trolling is usually the best all-around fish -finder, oth- er techniques may be equally good ... depending on season, waters and species. If you're a casting man, work the points for bass during the day, hopping to the next one down the shoreline when the first fails to produce after be- ing explored. He is healthy and sturdy with big brown eyes and dark hair. At 22 months Davey is not very talkative, but he understands every- thing said to him, especially the word "no." A friendly, cheerful child, Davey is not over -active or inquisitive, though he shows persistence in activities that appeal to him. He enjoys people but can play contentedly alone. He is doing most things at the average rate and it is felt he has higher potential. This little boy needs a loving mother and father who will provide a stimulating atmos- phere and will not be concerned over epilepsy in his background.
