radio Coffee Club picnic held
at the Silver Dome of the West-
ern Fair grounds on Wednesday,
June 18 and participated in
several major sports.
Visitors last week with Mrs.
George Hess were her aurr and
uncle, Mr. and Mrs. tariff Hugh-
es of Victoria, 13. C. and their
daughter, Airs. ilarjarie Camp-
bell of Sault Ste. Marie.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Rigby of
Blenheim, visited with lir. and
Mrs. Harry Snell over the week
end. Stewart McQueen returned
home with them for a visit.

daughter, Miss Kathy McCloy of
Don Mills and friend, \liss
Elizabeth Boiston of Don Mills.
Mrs. Gordon Schwalm, who is
the children's secretary of

and the 11 uron Presbyterial,
attended the Presbyterial work-
shop held at the home of \irs.
Carl Remus, president of the
Bruce Presbyterial, at her Rothe
in Paisley, on Monday of this
week.

evening of last week from a very
pleasant motor trip to Bethlehem,
Pa. They attended the Baccal-
aureate Service at Lehi It Uri-
versity for the graduates relat-
ives and friends, and on Monday
Mr. and Mrs. Mickle attended
the graduation exercises when
Charles received his Master of
Arts degree in International
Relations at the university.

anniversary on Thursday after-
noon, June 12, with guests pre-
sent from Kippen United Church,
Zurich Lutheran Church, and
the Arnold Circle and Home
Ilelpers of the I-Iensall Church.
President, Mrs. R. A. Orr
extended a welcome to all.
Devotional and study was
given by Mrs. George Walz and
1\1rs. Earl Campbell. Vocal
duets were sung by Mrs. Mal-
calm Dougall and Mrs. Pearl
Love, who chose for their select -
ions, "Take the Name of Jesus
With You" and "Jesus I Come" .
Guest speaker, Mrs. Eric Luther,
of Flensall, based her thoughts on
the cO tit Psalm and said, How
could there be Creation without
a Creator, God is a Creator no

north or south".

Storm Causes Fire
At Hensall Horne
1leusall firemen were called
to the home of Mrs.. Mary
Hildebrant, of RichmondStreet,
about 9 p.m, last Thursday
night when lightening struck
a lean-to at tile rear of the
home setting it ablaze.
The severe electrical storm
which passed over 1Iensall around
p.111. also did other damage.
A large elm tree with a double
trunk` on the farm of Stewart
Bell, one mile and a quarter
west of Ilensall, was struck by
liglttning, Several TV sets
were damaged, and an electric
cluck on the wall of a resident
