Philip Andrew Laporte excltauget.
marriage vows in St. Peter's
Catholic Church, St. Joseph,
on Saturday, May 2.1, at one
o'clock.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. William Burns
Ratcliffe of London, and the
groom's parents are Alr. and
Mrs. Noel Laporte, Sr. Joseph.
Given in marriage by her
father the bride was stunning in
an A line floor length gown of
french daisy pattern lace with the
Romeo and Juliet look. Crystal
peau trimmed the ruffle at the
neckline, and the bodice was
styled with wrist length sleeves
and an empire waistline. A
large bow was placed at the top
of `the detachable chapel -length

carried a bridal cascade of white
roses and baby's breath.
Sheila Ratcliffe of London,
sister of the bride, was maid of
honour and the bridesmaids
were Laura Ratcliffe, London,
and Bernadette Laporte, London.
They were dressed alike in a
sleeved flatted floor length gown
of hot pink ottoman corded with
cotton with rolled collar and a
bow placed in the centre of a
wide waistband. They carried
bouquets of carnations and min-
iature roses with trailing pale
pink ribbon.
Dennis I)ucharme was best
titan and Richard 1)ucharme and
Kenny Durand were ;groomsmen.
Jean Maurice Laporte and Bill
Ratcliffe ushered the guests.

ories completed her ensemble.
The young couple will reside
