Married in Varna United C'hurc'h
{MMcBEATUI-HATTER
Candelabra, baskets of white
shasta musts and yellow ponis
formed a lovely setting in the
Varna United Church on Satur-
day, May 10 at 3 p.m. when
Joyce Maureen Ilayter and Doug-
las Glenn \leBeath exchanged
marriage vows.
The bride's parents are Mr.
and Mrs. Harvey Ilayter, R. R. 1,
Varna and the groom is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Alex McBeath,
R. R. 3, Kippen.
Rev. M, Morrison, Varna and
Rev. Stewart, Brucefield per-
formed the double ring cere-
mony,
Given in marriage by her
father the bride looked stunning
in her floor length wedding
gown of white lagoda. The
bodice of delicate Swiss guipure
lace was highlighted by a wedd-
ing band collar touched with
beading, full length sleeves and
an empire waist. Elegance was
portrayed in the gently controller
A-line skirt while the. main
centre of attention was focused
on the detachable chapel train,
completely silhouetted with
hand -clipped appliques of the
sante Guipure lace. To com-
plete her bridal outfit, rhe bride
chose a french pure silk illusion
fingertip veil caught up by a
flora; cluster, and she carried
a bouquet of yellow roses and
stephanotis.
