EARLING SEEDING At time of writing the sun is pouring out its sun rays and all seems we. are living in a world dominated by peace among all nations of the world. All of that (Citizens News Photo) is beautiful and all of that is ex- pected by all. Why, because for several years past no one or nations knew they were living in God's created world. Today as we see things the tide has turned with a possible chance that all will realize that we are habiting God's world. This passing spring is much different than many past ones, so far so good and if it con- tinues nice weather, farmers will be busy on their land. It could be an early seeding which is believe by many early planting is more rewarding than late draggy seed- ing. So let us hope for the best and may peace reign again in this wide opened world. But, if you haven't noticed, more and more people are trying, and are making it. If you want to be one of the quitters, one thing is certain, it's up to you and no one else. But for some help along the way, her are few tips from the federal health department publication, "So, I'm Living Dangerously". A good time to kick the habit is when there is a change in routine --a holiday, a few days in bed with a cold, a business trip, in fact anything that feels like a fresh start. If you need to stop because of an illness or choose to stop on a holiday, why start again List your reasons for stopping and the benefits you expect to gain, so you can refer to them when you feel you might slip. Stop carrying cigarettes. It' will break the automatic habit of reaching for one. Quit "cold" if you can. If you can't cut down and consciously stop inhaling. Then gradually reduce until you quit altogether. This is easier when cigarettes are out of reach. Let others know of your intent- ion. Knowing that others are keeping an eye on you will help strengthen your resolution. Team up with someone to make the break --especially a husband or wife, .boyfriend. It helps to share your experience. 0 A skillful driver, like an expert chess player, achieves his end with the minimum number of moves.
