Of Italian -Scottish -English descent, he is a tall, sturdy, well built young fellow with lovely dark eyes, fine light brown hair and clear olive skin. He is in excellent health except for the occasional attack of tonsillitis. He sleeps well and has a splendid appetite. Gary is a good-natured child with a sunny personality. He's friendly and loves attention but is not demanding and can amuse himself happily with his toys. Though he is a really robust child and very active, he is most affectionate and still likes to be cuddled. He needs warm, demonstrative parents who will appreciate a lively, sociable little son. Bean Board Helps GFO Campaign More than $17,000 has been donated and pledged to the Ont- ario campaign committee for one General Farm Organization, committee chairman Malcolm Davidson of Brucefield, said Thursday. "We expect a lot more and we need a lot more," said Mr. Davidson. The latest pledge came in the form of a $1, 000 guarantee Wed- nesday from the Ontario Bean Producers' Marketing Board. The board approved backing the GFO committee for a bank loan of $1, 000 with the understanding it would be paid off if the organiz- ation is approved in a June pleb- iscite. If the vote fails, the bean board will pay off the loan. Ladies Auxiliary to Rest Home Hear Local Clergyman The Blue Water Rest Home Auxiliary held their regular monthly meeting at the Rest Home on Wednesday evening, April 2. Verda Baechler and her commi- ttee were in charge of the progr- am. The residents of the Home, as well as the Auxiliary members, enjoyed an informal discussion with Rev. Ephraim Gingerich, using "Easter" as the theme. Dorothy, Helen and Ruth Ann ,Steckle favored the group with several Easter songs. Greta Erb read an appropriate poem, "Ech- oes of Easter". In the business session, it was decided to look after the purch- ase of bed spreads for the Home. There is to be a regional con- ference at Halton Centennial Manor, on Wednesday, April 23.
