Visit Kitchener
By Debbie McKinley
The third meeting of the
Goshen Gourmets was held on
Thursday, March 5, at 7:00 p.m.
at Mrs. Bob McKinley's. We
opened with 0 Canada.
Some handed out members
pamphlets that each had sent
and we discussed our trip to
Kitchener to go through meat
factories with surrounding Zurich,
Dashwood, and Varna clubs.
One member was absent. Our
discussion was on meat cookery.
For group work we made
braised short ribs with vegetables
and used the dry heat method for
cooking sausage. We finished
the meeting by sampling our
meat and by doing the dishes.
